Visita Iglesia 2012

Every year we do Visita Iglesia, we've been doing it for many years now, it's like a tradition in our family. While most families will go out of town to relax and reflect, we on the other hand just stay in our house and engage in Holy week activities such as Pabasa here in our neighborhood.

We usually went to 7 churches around Metro Manila, last year we visited churches at Batangas because we stayed at my aunt's rest house there. But, this year was a bit different because we went to churches here in our town. After the Visita Iglesia, we ate at Paseo De Sta. Rosa and we saw the close up commercial guy, the one who sings for "Gabby" :)))

Here are some pictures of that day..

A New Beginning

It’s been almost 2 months since my last blog post, there are so many things that happened to me in that short span of time. I can’t wait to share it all to you in my upcoming posts. I’m just glad I was able to write again.

I finally have a job at a hospital, not as a nurse though, but still...I have work! I’m very thankful to God for giving me this opportunity. Sometimes life doesn't give you something you want, not because you don’t deserve it, but because you deserve MORE. We all had those moments that we feel God isn’t answering our prayers. I’ve been through a number of job interviews, exams and etc. I felt worthless, sad and disappointed because despite this, I also had relationship issues at that time and it felt like everything was falling apart in my life. Suddenly, this opportunity came. This job came at the right time in my life, I needed this to keep me busy and to keep my mind off things. I lost someone who has been an important part of my life for the past 3 years but God is so great because he has given me 12 new and awesome people :)

These past few months were a lot of things. Bumpy as it was, I find myself immensely thankful for the ride, for the people who helped me stay on the road, and most especially, for the direction it has given me as I face another “Beginning” in my life.

Cebu Day 2 Photo Diary

We woke up extra early on our 2nd day at Cebu to catch the 8 am island boat trip. We met up with keith's other friends at mcdo then we headed to savemore supermarket to buy food for our island hopping. We had quite an adventure going to our destination because we rode in a pick up truck. It was my first time to do that and it was fun, i felt cool that time with my aviator shades while the wind is gushing to my face ;)

Julienne and I, goofing around ;)

With our new found friends :)

We definitely enjoyed sight seeing while we were on the boat and the reason for that is this breathtaking view...

 The Pandanon Island

Our country is really beautiful, who would have thought we have this picturesque beach. I immediately fell in love with Cebu. This is paradise people! :)

Blue skies, white sand, clear blue sea, best girlfriends + new friends..This is the life! :)

                                                                                  My sexy loves :)

Jul and I

 ♥

We stayed at Pandanon Island for almost 3 hours, we also had our ihaw ihaw lunch there. Our next stop is the marine sanctuary where we had the chance to snorkel and swim in the middle of the sea.

We are ready to jump ;)

It's actually my first time to swim in the middle of the sea without a life jacket. :)

 The gang

Tanned and happy girls on our way home

I'm a beach lover, so i would say that this is the highlight of my trip in cebu. This is the most beautiful beach that Ive been to so far. Isn't it too obvious in our pictures that we enjoyed this day so much :) Our day hasn't end yet because as soon as we got home and clean ourselves, we went to a videoke place to experience Cebu's night life. The place is named IT park, the vibe is similar to Makati or Alabang.

As you can see I'm always singing in the pictures. I really love to sing, im a frustrated singer! I'm good at dancing but i cant sing to save a life :))

Our Cebu trip will never be this memorable without them :)

Cebu Day 1 Photo Diary

Last January 18-21, 2012 me with my two best girlfriends Zhantelle and Julienne went to Cebu. Its our first out of town trip together, like, an airplane ride trip kind of thing. So, imagine our excitement when the day finally arrived. Thanks to cebu pacific's 12 php fare promo, we were able to go there without spending tons of money for airfare. Another good thing is that we stayed at julienne's friend at Korea, Keith :) we really saved a lot for this trip. It's also nice that keith is there to accompany us, he's a local at cebu and he really showed us other places in cebu aside from the usual tourist spots.

Our first dinner upon arriving Cebu, we ate at a restaurant named "Chika-an" they have yummy baked scallops :)

First stop during our day tour: Lapu,Lapu and Magellan's shrine

                                                    Keith (Those lens!)

 At Fort San Pedro

 The town's history

                                            At Basilica De Sto. Nino

St. Augustine

We took a picture with them because we had the same uniform when we were in CSA

BPI Cebu Museum

We were not allowed to take pictures inside, you should really visit their museum because they have the old coins and bills during the old times, its quite interesting :)

The infamous Magellan's Cross

After our tour to all of these sites, we went to sm cebu to grab a quick lunch and stroll around the mall..we also saw this really cool car made of abaca (not sure) ;)

After our trip to the mall, we went to taboan to buy pasalubongs for our loved ones in Manila. I bought some otap, danggit, dried pusit and dried mangoes :)

Old Manila Vibe

We also went to Taoist temple

Before going to crown regency hotel for our skywalk adventure, we had to fill our tummy first because were all tired from the tour we had that day. We decided to eat at Handuraw Pizza, i only have three words to describe it. BEST.PIZZA.EVER :) Its really so good! We ordered their handuraw special and cebuano special. The latter is a little spicy for my taste, so i only had one slice of it.

After dinner, we went to crown regency hotel for the skywalk adventure. Keith, Zha and I tried the edge coaster ride where in you'll be tilted from your sit 45 degrees from the 38th floor of the hotel. Its really scary, i keep screaming my lungs out while  we were on the ride. Nevertheless, it's a fun and extreme experience for me :) too bad jul, didnt tried it because she is afraid of heights, but im really glad she's conquering it one step at a time because she accompanied us in the sky walk :)

We survived the skywalk adventure :) It was a fun and thrilling experience for all of us. Our friend keith is somewhat our fellow tourist also because even though he lives in cebu, he doesn't go out that much so most of the things we did on day 1, he experienced it first time too :)
